Chalkis Shipyards is pleased to announce the establishment of a dedicated Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Department, further enhancing our technical capabilities and strengthening the quality assurance framework across our operations.
Our new NDT team is staffed by certified Level II operators and delivers services under EN ISO 9712 Level III–approved written procedures, fully aligned with applicable international standards and integrated into the company’s Quality Management System.
The department is equipped with the appropriate specialized NDT equipment and currently performs a defined range of inspections in-house, ensuring faster response times, improved coordination, and consistent quality.
For additional specialized NDT methods not covered internally, Chalkis Shipyards continues to collaborate with approved external contractors, ensuring full compliance with all project requirements and industry standards.
This development marks an important step in our ongoing commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
